I created, built, and run the website FOI Directory. It is based around the Freedom of Information Act in the UK – which allows members of the public the right to access information from authorities.
FOI Directory can be found here. Twitter account for the website is here.
The website is a combination of more than 10,000 email addresses for public authorities (where people can ask for data), more than 1,000 examples of the Act being used by the media and blog posts around the Act.
It has been used by journalists, campaigners, researchers and many other individuals. The purpose of the website is to help raise awareness of the FOI Act and the information that people have rights to.
I have been running the website since November 2012.
