I am writing a book*. It’s on the Freedom of Information Act and how journalists can use it. I have mentioned it a couple of times – not many though.
At around 80,000 words it is by far the biggest project I have ever undertaken and it is proving to be incredibly challenging.
However, as the deadline is drawing closer everything is starting to take shape.
I’ve now interviewed more than 50 people. Most of them are in this list. The research and interview transcribing is almost complete.
The plan for the whole book has gone through multiple iterations, gradually becoming more and more complex but I’ve settled on 13 chapters now (including appendices).
Here’s a whizz through of a detailed (but still not final) plan of the book.
*I am very aware that this entire post was a large procrastination exercise.
